    blackjack vegas strip

Enjoy a taste of Las Vegas wherever you are in this four hand Blackjack game and you could win more thanks to two lucrative side bets.

Blackjack Vegas is an exciting variant of the game that brings you the excitement of a top Las Vegas casino. It allows you to play up to four hands at once and it played with just four decks of cards. It also gives you the chance to increase your winnings with two potentially lucrative side bets, the 21+3 and the Pair.

How to Play Blackjack Vegas Strip

As is standard in Blackjack, the aim of the game is to build a hand of cards that is closer in value to 21 than the dealer’s hand is. If your hand exceeds 21 then you have gone bust and you lose the round. At the end of a round, you win payouts for any of your hands that are closer to 21 in value than the dealer’s hand is. The game allows you to play up to four hands at once, and there are two side bets that you can place with each hand.

As per usual, the numbered cards are worth their face values, the picture cards (Jack, Queen and King) are all worth 10, and Aces are worth either 1 or 11. This means that a hand of 21 can be formed with just two cards, an Ace and a ten card, this is called Blackjack and it is the strongest possible hand.

At the start of a round, you need to place your bets on the hands that you wish to play. You can also place the side bets at this point. When you are happy with your bets click on ‘Deal’ and you will receive two face up cards to each active hand. At the same time, the dealer will receive one face up card and one face down.

You then have a number of options for each hand, you can ‘Hit’, ‘Stand’ or ‘Double’. If you choose ‘Hit’ the hand receives another card, if you select ‘Stand’ the hand remains as it is, and if you choose ‘Double’ the bet for that hand will be doubled, you will receive one more card to that hand, and the game then moves on. When you have finished playing your hands, the dealer will play his. The dealer must draw until his hand is worth at least 17.

At the end of a round all winning hands are paid at 1:1 except for Blackjack which is paid out at 3:2. If both you and the dealer have the same hand then the bet is returned as a push, if you have Blackjack and the dealer has 21 then you will win the round.

    Blackjack Vegas Strip Special Features

There are sitwwwions when you will have more options. When the cards are dealt, if the dealer’s face up card is an Ace then you have the option to take out insurance against the dealer having Blackjack. Insurance will cost you half of that hand’s bet and if the dealer does have Blackjack it then pays out at 2:1.

If the first two cards in a hand have the same value then you have the option to ‘Split’ them into two separate hands. You play them as individual hands and can draw cards to them as usual, unless you have split two Aces in which case you can only draw one more card to each hand.

    Blackjack Vegas Strip Side Bets

The game offers two side bets, the Pair and the 21+3. The Pair bet wins if a hand’s first two cards form a perfect pair (two identical cards), a coloured pair (the same colour but different suit) or a mixed pair (different suit). A Mixed Pair pays 6:1, a Coloured Pair pays 12:1, and a Perfect Pair pays 25:1.

The 21+3 pays out if the first two cards of a hand together with the dealer’s card form a Flush, a Straight, a Three of a Kind, a Straight Flush or a Suited Three of a Kind. A flush pays 5:1, a Straight pays 10:1, Three of a Kind pays 30:1, a Straight Flush pays 40:1 and a Suited Three of a Kind pays 100:1.
